Volunteers Make EChO Possible
At Evergreen Christian Outreach (EChO), volunteers are truly the heartbeat of our mission. Every week, it takes 179 dedicated individuals to keep our essential programs running—37 in the Food Pantry, 125 in the ReSale Store, and 24 drivers collecting donations across our community.
Each year, more than 300 active volunteers—and over 500 when you include seasonal support—donate their time and energy, contributing more than 32,000 hours to support families in need.
Some of our volunteers have been with us for over a decade—46 of them, to be exact—and many describe EChO as more than just a place to give back. It’s a place to find purpose, meet new people, and be part of something meaningful.
Whether you’re completing school service hours, looking for a way to give back, hoping to meet new people, or simply ready to make a difference in your own community, EChO offers the chance to be a part of something that matters.
